The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Boatbuilder / Shipwright with at least 4 years of hands-on experience to support our growing manufacturing team. You’ll play a key role in building, refitting, and delivering high-performance marine vessels—working with advanced materials and techniques in a collaborative workshop environment.

We’re after someone who is organised, proactive, and quality-driven, with a strong background in composites and a keen eye for detail.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Craftsmanship & Refit: Construct and refit vessels to high standards in a detail-driven environment, following engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Composite Fabrication: Manufacture components using fibreglass and carbon fibre through a variety of specialised techniques and equipment.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other builders, engineers, and management to deliver projects efficiently and to specification.

  • Autonomy & Initiative: Take ownership of your work while supporting the team and adapting to project needs as they evolve.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in professional boatbuilding or marine composites

  • Strong hands-on experience with carbon fibre and fibreglass

  • Ability to read and interpret shop floor and engineering drawings

  • Confidence to work independently or as part of a team

  • High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to quality

  • Leadership potential or experience coordinating tasks on the workshop floor (bonus)
